"We arrived at the Ventanus Portal ahead of schedule today so we've been given a few hours of person time. I went to my bunk to rest for a bit, but first had a peak outside to view the portal. This is a new one for us, it looks inviting but once our sensors complete their full scan and the Captain gives the word...we're off to a venture that no human has gone before...wish us luck."
